It seems this coin is not as hot as we expected. Look at paradise website, only around 240 coins were sold, very slowly.
What do you think about it?

Downies calls these as astonishing and groundbreaking with demand set to soar sky high and sure to sell out at speed
We were advised the high relief is another marketing ploy for a Piedford

I was late to order the coin from the Perth Mint since I'm from Canada, so I ordered one from Talisman Coins last weekend. Now that I know it's available from the Perth Mint again, I will cancel my order with Talisman because shipping is not free and the totat cost is around $118.
I didn't think this coin would sell out so fast, but I believe this coin will appreciate in the market for the simple reason that it is the first high relief Kookaburra.

Coin is ok,looks lovely quality strike but like all NCLT with high issue price from Perth and Canberra mints they are mostly unaffordable at issue price only true collectors would love them

I had buyers remorse after I missed the Fedex delivery attempt, and called Fedex to ship it back to sender.

I am going to stick with my 7070.

can anyone who received this coin post a photo? I'd like to know if this is a true high relief coin or just a piedfort. I have friend visited Perth Mint, and they seem to call the coin piedfort...

Thanks Elkslayer132, for the pic.
I think a 2-ounce version would look super nice because the 1-ounce version looks small in real life.

I would think bigger coins would look nicer, that's why I like the 5oz ATB.

However, only this 1oz version is available..... the question is, Is it worth while to purchase this coin? OR waiting for the hope of a possible larger coin?

I would go with this coin for now..... it's just me.

Thank you for sharing guys.
