Hi, there is a seller selling a bunch of these joblots of ancients... here is one..

my question is : are these the final state of the coins or can they be cleaned further to reveal more detail?

These look like they have already been cleaned - I don't think they could be improved much, maybe very slightly but not much.

The two coins on the left are missing patches of their patina and the bottom coin is missing it altogether. The remaining two do still have their patina but look like they were in poor condition when they were 'lost' to the ground.

Unfortunately I don't think you could improve them much.

Hi these coins are really in a very bad state of preservation,there's nothing to reveal as details,it's even difficult recognize them.
In my opinion don't buy them.

I agree these are pretty much the condition that I've been getting in uncleaned lots lately and there is not much you can do with these coins. The bottom left shows some legend but the rest are worn flat or corroded so you prob won't be able to pull much more details out.I would say pass on this lot.
