Can anyone recommend a good place to buy fractional gold? more specifically I'm looking to pick up the 1/10th fractionals. Any recommendations?

Indianaman79 I would preferably purchase any of my precious metals at a local coin store. However if I didn't have access to one I'd look to Craiglist kepping in mind that precautions must be taken if I would do so. Namely meeting in a public place (bank or somewhere where I would know that survelliance photos were present, arriving early and leaving late, and taking a round about way home. Another place that you could look to would be a coin forum (such as this) where there is a member selling outlet.

Whenever you deal on line with a big internet company you will be charged handling and shipping charges. Some of which could be quite high for what you are purchasing. At a coin forum selling site you will also be charged shipping costs unless you would have to negotiate to have them included.

There are lots of places to purchase gold and silver - google private mints and you should find lots of places that sell on the internet.

If you're looking to buy 50 pieces or more, Tulving sells European 20 franc pieces (.1867 ounce of gold) for just a hair over melt. You won't find a better deal on fractional gold.
