I would like to know a bit more about this cash-like coin (Is it a coin or a charm?)
It has diameter of 24 mm.

Any help is appreciated!

With the Eight Trigrams on the reverse, it's definitely a charm. This zeno.ru example is the same design, but alas there's no translation given for it.

The inscription is chu ru ping an (出å.¥å¹³å®‰) which translates as "may your comings and goings be in peace".
