Even though this coin is cleaned, isn't it a steal at this price?

I don't know if I'd call it a "steal". I've seen uncleaned versions for comparable price. I just had a local dealer offer me a complete Lincoln collection in a nice Dansco album for 475.00. It was only missing the 1909-S-VDB and the 22 no D. Most of the memorial cents were BU and it had the proofs in the later years. Based on that I'd say the album is a good price for the key dates you get...I don't know if I'd call it a steal.

I didn't buy the album the dealer offered me. I still need some of those keys, but I enjoy the challenge of the hunt. I'm hoping to find them in the condition I want and the price I want. Don't we all

jtomlin,
If you find a 31 s in that condition for a comparable price, you be sure to let me know. :P

This guy wants me to make a reasonable offer and he will check with the owners of the coins. What should I offer him?

Tykimeister, I didn't phrase my comment about the 31S properly. I have seen uncleaned versions for a comparable price, but not in that condition. Unfortunately, cleaning really knocks down the value and I guess I'd rather have one with "no issues".

Here's the album I looked at. I actually sat in this guys shop and looked at this album and it was pretty nice. Look at it and compare the 2 collections since they are similar.

Ty,

If you are looking to spend a bit more here is a PCGS Ms-63 from Harlan Berk. It's for $150, and from the pic, I'd assume Red-Brown.
