Help Me Attribute This Constantine I

DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 05/04/2012 3:34 pm Ever since I cleaned this coin to a condition that's identifiable, I've been trying to get a correct attribution. Clearly, it's a Constantine I GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS, and I'm pretty certain that's SMNB (Nicomedia) in the exergue. However, there is a dot before the mark that appears to part of the coin, and not corrosion. That said, I cannot find a (dot) SMNB anywhere in my RIC references--can anyone help? thank you! Biancasdad Pillar of the Community United States 1045 Posts	Posted 05/04/2012 3:55 pm I would venture a guess that the mint mark may actually be SMKB just because it is the only possibility with the "dot" which makes this coin RIC 94, otherwise it would have to be unlisted. -Kurt PS.
