nice E bars there Hawk.
I believe the ox logo bars are among the older of the varieties of Engelhard bars

Hey thanks Pobox that is a fountain of great old Engelhard information....

I have seen some of those I really like such as the 2,3, an 4 oz. old pours on ebay, always so way high above spot not even a feasible consideration for me, as they are rare an those who sell them know it, an price them accordingly....

Also I would love to get a hold of one of those 25 oz. old pour ox head, those I have never seen as of yet....

Cool as well all the unknown history surrounding the minting, an the theories surrounding the close serial number bars having a real low mintage such as the 20 oz. pour like the one I was lucky enough to win....
