Help coin experts!

I have a costantius II spes reipublice I can't figure out. There is a s in the left field on the obverse which I can't find a match for.

Sorry for the poor picture, coin isn't in great shape anyhow. Here's a picture I found online, very similar but I don't have a dot in the right field..

Someone thought this was from the Heraclea mint.

Thanks!

According to Helvetica, if there is an "S" in the left field, it should be from Sirmium, and would probably be RIC VIII 86 or 90.

you guys are correct, I misuderstood the post on another board, totally sirmium mint.

looks like 86 has a right dot, so it must be a 90.

thank you very much echizento and jw!

RIC 86 may or may not display a dot in tyhe right field, so it can still be either or.

You're very welcome. You may want to bookmark Helvetica's Help Page. It can make looking these things up a lot easier. I have all the RIC volumes, but find it much easier to review an on-line resource like Helvetica's:

Other good on line resources are acsearch.info and The Dirty Old Coins Roman Imperial Coins Database at
http://dirtyoldcoins.com/roman/Roman-Emperors.html

I have a ton of other on-line resources if you are ever interested, but these should get you started w/o bogging you down.
