Hi:

Will someone post a picture of US Mint Coin rolls. I'd like to know what they look like.

I've noted threads/posts of persons getting 2012 roll of various coins at businesses when they note a 2012 coin in their change. Are those commercially rolled of coins from bagged coins or mint rolls?

I collect Ike dollars so an image of one of those would be particularly helpful.

The coins appearing in circulation would have been rolled by whatever cash service provided them (e.g. Brinks).

Also, Ike dollars haven't been made for over 30 years, so I'm not sure what you're referring to there...

The US Mint only sells rolls to collectors, not for general circulation and those rolls will have special mint wrappers. The quarter and half dollar rolls are sold as a P&D roll set and they carry a significant premium over face value- $32.95 for quarters, $34.95 for halves. Golden dollar rolls are sold individually by Mint for $32.95/roll.

There are rolls that are initially sold on the US Mint's web site that have specific paper the coins are rolled in. Is that what you are talking about?

You can see photos of them here:

And the US Mint doesn't roll the coins. It is an outside company and banks also roll their own coins. The coins come in huge bags and they are rolled outside of the Mint.
