And a bargain section with some world coin dealers. I bought several raw pieces and submitted them onsite to PCGS/NGC. But be careful: lots of junk and dealers using CAD to USD 100% conversion. Had to remind a few that the exchange rate was 70%. |

It's a bit of a jaunt for me, as I live in Western Canada. Maybe at some point in the future I will make the trip. For now I guess I will have to be content with watching videos of it on YouTube. |

Thank you, GLB. Yes, and proof coins are the most difficult - you're trying to take a picture of a mirror but not have any reflections.

Try this, Hondo. I usually photograph proof coins during the day using natural lighting from the window in my room. To help control the glare I hold a piece of 12" x 12" cardboard between the coin and the light source. I hold the cardboard about 24" from the coin and move it around a bit until I get the cover I need.
I know this may sound strange but give it a few dry runs and see what happens.
