Quote: what was the PCGS grade I wish I could say for certain.. I am pretty sure it was MS65 which was why my friend had picked it up for me since he saw right away that it wasn't a business strike but a specimen strike. It was a pittman coin if I remember. Sorry I wish I had better details, the coins are just coming in like mad for me.

I had a little post-christmas splurge, and bought the following:
2002 Proof Silver Dollar Queen's Jubilee 1989 Silver Maple 1973 RCMP Silver Dollar 1982 Silver Dollar uncirculated
Notes: - The 2002 might be my new favorite Canadian coin. I just love the design, and find the collage very appealing. The font/technique used in the text in particular is attractive. - The 1989 is in as good condition as the 2011's I bought, which is nice since I paid $40 for it. - The 1973 is a bit of a sentimental/bucket list coin for me. I always loved the 73 quarter, and remember seeing the dollar and always wanting one. - The 82 is odd, as it is not frosted. I have another that looks great, and it's frosted. This one is MS64+, but I am surprised that it's not frosted. I wasn't aware two finishes were available.

Anjohl, two finishes were available for the '82 Regina silver dollar, proof and brilliant. Now you have both,I believe the brilliant finish ones are less common.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website
