$11 over spot for the $40 Kook is a very good deal. If you should ever decide to sell it, let me know. The 2 oz. proof is much closer to true value, but something so rare will ALWAYS hold its value. I like the Peacemaker. Another coin that would sell at a premium, probably around $40+. Can't comment on the Canada Wildlife coins but $6 over spots seems pretty decent to me. All in all, very good deals, indeed. Excellent job!

Thanks everybody, I definitely had a fun time! And traevin I just corrected my original post, the 2oz collection has no more than 650 minted, so a very low mintage and the guy who sold it to me he actually came off his price on a basis of ebay auctions that the pieces actually sold for, so I paid fair price, not good not bad. These are all things I will likely hold on to for a while, and I would say this is the start to finally keeping my collection and now adding to it, especially if canada continues their wildlife series.

wildspinx,

I only have three Kook proofs in my entire collection, and just one of them has the COA. What you have is quite rare and worth holding on to. They're an uncommon auction item, and when they do come up, prices can be quite high. Even regular uncirculated Kooks sell for more than $40!

Very nice pickups! I like the Kooks but my favorite is the 4-coin Canadian wildlife set.

The kooks are great pickups, and I was just looking at the exact same peace maker bar earlier on ebay, as I like those old flat gun bars....

An no doubt the 4 different wildlife series is always a no brainer buy, as their re-sale is always movin up, milk spots sometimes or not....

well I appreciate the kind words everyone, sorry about so long for a reply, been out of state. I do have a soft spot for the kooks so will definitely continue to add to that collection, and if what is said is true then I only have next years wildlife 2 coins to finish that collection. And as for the old peacemaker bar I believe there are 5 bars in the set so I may try to acquire the other 4 eventually.
