I think I was get just as excited finding that I would if I found a mule. Must've taken you days to get over that one.
My best find so far has been my wavy 66 20c and I took that thing out and look at it so often the plastic album sheet split and had to be replaced. I would imagine you did the same.

Awesome In2Fish2!! How good is that?,,,im feelin the karma vibe.... great stuff,im glad you found that note. What condition is it in? looks pretty good from here! Well Done! Goatie I'm keen to sell, but bein a newb...ive gotta make X amount of posts...well if thats the rules...? Still keen to get some idea what ppl think these notes might be worth...In2Fish2s note included. ...nobody seems to be able to put any realistic value on these notes...? A guy I know on another forum said he found a solid (6 numbers) and sold at $350 so thats not bad goin... One question for Goatie or anybody who might know.I heard a rumour these notes are not high serial but actually LOW serials? A guy I know said the serials started at 999999 and went up to 000001...but I dont see how that makes them LOW.Shed any light or does he have NO idea what hes on about?

Hey Migsy, I think your mate may have been referring to the way the RBA lists the production run on their web site. Check it out at http://www.rba.gov.au/banknotes/col...9/index.htmlI think my note is in pretty good condition with no major creases nor pin holes but its way off being uncirculated unfortunately. IMHO I would advise against selling your note, unless you really need the coin, as it's bound to increase in value. As time goes by its rarity is certainly going to increase. I've been noodling notes for a fair while now (although I did have a break for 2 months or so) and haven't seen any other notes that come close to ours, so hang in there as long as you can before selling. I noodled at least 60K in 50's before I found mine. With odds of 1 in 192,471 notes I think we are very lucky.

We need 250 quality posts before we can sell/ trade or post a want list. It's here for those who want to check all the requirements http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...sp#rulesid12 Seems like a lot to me however it's forum rules, I'm sure there to keep out the unscrupulous rat bags.

Hi,
I came across a $50 recently. Serials is DL 99889922. Does this qualify as a radar? repeater? any value in it?
thanks

With a serial DL 99 889922 "99" being the year...its not a radar bcoz you would have to have a number like 889988 or 229922 to be a radar. If it is Unc then being an older note it might be worth a little more...then again I aint NO expert! Pays to check the RBAs website for first and Last prefixes...keep an eye out for them. http://www.rba.gov.au/banknotes/col...9/index.html

People may call it a doubles note.
Not of interest to me though. If it was something like a double repeater for instance e.g DL99889988 I'd be looking at it. I'm a collectors of 9's 8's & I love my $50's!.
Seems that everyone's getting into their 1999 $50's, I'm loving life.
