I just recently found the 1983P 1 DR-001- I also found a real nice 1983P-1DR-002 earlier- the problem is I would like to send both to ANACS to have a nice pair, but I'm not sure if ANACS will grade the 1983P 1 DR-002 because of some zinc rot areas on the obverse.

* No 1983P 1 DR-002 is listed on the POP report for ANACS, which is also why I'd like to have this coin graded.*

Here are a few picks of the coin- opinions welcomed.

Can't you just call them and ask before you send it in?

Thanks John:

Got the answer from another collector.

It's not worth sending in, it would be slabbed as corroded.

Also, even though the 83DDR-002 is rarer than the big boy (83-DDR-001), there is little interest/value in the coin compared to the 83-DDR-001.
