I've been helping my parents clean out there huge storage room. Been finding all kinds of cool things...Old Toys, old family history stuff, etc. Well, Today I stumbled upon a bunch of silver :)

Found a box of coins that was in my grandmothers old house. Inside was probably 40 silver commemorative coins. pretty much everything from the modern era 1983 until she died in 2001. Was also some silver bicentennial sets. There was a box of other circulating coins and low and behold a tube of 1964 Kennedys :) Another handful of 40% ers. 5 64 Quarters. There was a bunch of Proof sets too. A prestige one with silver and a 1992 Silver proof. All in all a ton of silver coins.

If that wasn't enough, I found a franklin mint set of sterling spoons too. Another 14.5 ounces of silver.

Probably found 40-50 oz of silver for free today :)

Nice Find. I love finding out what my relatives collected. Sometimes I didn't even know that they did.
