mmorgan22 Pillar of the Community United States 570 Posts	Posted 05/18/2012 2:51 pm Japan 5 sen coin year 19(1944) made from Tin-Zinc Y#63 Mintage: 70,000,000 This coin was made during WWII and they used Tin-Zinc because other metals were being used for the war effort.
