Circulated Antietam? ... Thoughts Please

The strike seems weak and the photo is not very flattering for the design. I would think it spent some time in a drawer and received some friction from that but not circulation wear. You may never find a truly circulated example without pocket piecing one for a while; I just don't think it makes the grade for your circulated set. Report this Post to the Staff

I will take a pass on this Antietam ... still holding out for an honestly well-circulated example. PCGS has certified 6 Antietam half dollars below AU ... so there is one out there somewhere waiting for me to find. Special thanks to Not Mint to Be ...
