Your $50 type 1 is listed in the 5th edition Kelly book with a value of $750. 84 sheets were issued. Your note came from sheet 52 and was the second note down on the 6 note sheet.

WOW! I actually have one very similar that my Great Grandfather gave me in his old bill fold (I know..) but it says Jersey Shore National bank, PA. or something close. I'll have to get it the next time I go down to Jersey Shore to my Grams house. I believe that one to be a 20 dollar denomination though. Sorry I wish I had a picture for you. :(

Similar can make a big difference. When you get your note start a new thread with a scan of the note and we will let you know what you have.
