I found this silver blank coin in an old safe. It doesn't have a rim, it's about the size of a silver dollar, but it weighs only 20.7 grams. Can anyone please let me know what I have here?

Thanks,
Tom

Can't help with your question, I am sure a pro will chime in soon. Just wanted to say to a fellow Michigander.

Do you have calipers? If so, Diameter and thickness would be helpful.

If you do not know what it is, what makes you think it is actually silver instead of a base metal? Specific Gravity measurement would be the best method for determining silver content, acid testing would also work but that is a destructive test and should be avoided if possible.

The problem here is that is does not match any US planchet so it could be some completely random foreign planchet. However, the edges are too smooth to be either a planchet or a blank so I suspect that it was actually once a fully struck coin that was subsequently worn slick as a pocket piece.

Thanks everyone, I just took it in and the guy told me it was the most worn down silver dollar he's ever seen

Doesn't look like it's a struck silver dollar, as I would expect there would be at the very least some detail visible. No need to limit it to being a US coin either.
