I know there are the 2 major, and possibly the only ones in Canada that provides a certified third party grade on coins.

ICCS and CCCS.

Which one is preferred and why? I often see more ICCS certified coins than CCCS. Is one more accurate than the other? Is one pricier than the other? Reliable, turn around time, etc. I am very interested in hearing from various people on these 2 grading service companies.

And how does one contact ICCS? Is there a website for them? Can anyone assist me with their pricing and such?

Thnx

If you do a search in this forum, and the general Canadian forum, you will find tons of debates on this very topic...

I Have supported ICCS from the very beginning in 1986 and have been more than pleased. I have had a couple of minor differences of opinion with Brian over the years, but for the most part over all a good relationship. Remember though all grading services opinions are just that, opinions. Use the services to your advantage, but learn how to grade to current standards and you will be on your way!

ICCS graded coins are easier to sell and that's all there is to it.
