gee, if it had a brockage-through-grease, it'd have EVERYTHING.
I'm not into errors, but that has so much that it really is interesting.
What's your theory: apprentice's first day at the Mint ? a Tuesday-morning coin, after the Easter long-weekend ?

I guess they did simply reach the end of the blank sheet when making this blank.
The mint workers were underpaid and did not spend much attention to the coins they were creating, especially the low value copper coins.
