So, this is a great thought as I have noticed that I have scored some good items often at a good price due to misspelling or poor category choices.....

Bad-Spelling-Can-Result-In-Nice-Pm-Finds....

This bar above I have won and the seller had it listed as Englehard silver bar. Now then, won at at 36 bucks shipped, so not that great of deal, but hey for Engelhard I will take it nice bar, and I think most are wise enough to search both spellings, as you will find many listings under both spellings....

Now then, this is not that uncommon at all with Engelhard, as it is just human nature to want to put that L before the E....

Now then here is another great example, check out this auction of some great old bars, the M&B Omega company as I just recently learned here thanks to all the wise members, and this guy here did not know what he had, an has all the WRONG key words in his title. No....pour, or loaf, but he did have the key word old an bar however.

I emailed an told him the company name, an he was like I wish I had knew all that before listing, lol....

I only found it as I search SILVER BULLION often to get a wider perspective of search....

This 5 an 1 oz. bar I would LOVE to own an pair up with my 10 oz, an there is a couple of 2 oz. listed at like 125 way to high as well, but imagine a set of 10, 5, 2, an 1, that would be a great piece of bar history, late 60's....

EVEN with all the wrong key words, this auction is up to 47 per oz. lol, way to high for my blood, so I share with you all an if someone wants to go 300 for 6 rare oz., would not be the worse buy in the world....

After reading this, I am going to start misspelling names in hopes of scoring a good deal. Great Job!

It is not something you are gonna find often Spider, but anytime you are hunting a rare piece, with perhaps a long hard to remember title which you think could be misspelled, never hurts to try it an look.....

If they have an auction counter, at that point you have a good idea if the item is flying under the radar so to speak, which may result in a good deal....

Never hurts to email the seller quickly an offer them a fair buy it now price an see if they will take cash asap, as often people will indeed....

I am pretty sure we had a member or two score one of the Togrog series wolf coins way early on two an three years back, via poor category listing, an that coin lists for three grand plus an brings two grand plus on running auctions these days. So in a case like that, it could be a substantial find.....
