I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me establish the value of an RCM sealed 1964 $300 nickel bag. Any guidance would help. I tried to message the OP to ask him instead of pollution this thread, but the site rejected me because I am a noob and a suspect for noob-spam. Thanks!

guys, I posted in the CRH forum about my opportunity to buy 2 large bags of silver dollars from one of my pick up banks. The Bank Manager told me that he has not even looked inside since he had started working there (over 3 years ago). he told me there was at least $1000 in the 2 bags.

I could not get them last week, and I made an appointment for today to get them.

I am just salivating over what may actually be inside.

And yes I will be taking photos.

As for the nickels I'd say they're worth whatever someone is willing to pay, other than the extra water line or spitting queen there's nothing special about them, if that bag had been tossed around a lot the lower the grade of it contents.

yes, at face, however I don't know what is actually in the bags, other than values, could be mostly post 68, so no silver. But I am betting that there are some silver 50 cents, and some silver dollars. being that no one has touched these for years, I am hoping to open them up and see the white toning of silver right on top.

I bought a 1967 CAN$300 nickel bag last year - it cost me US$350... not a single gem grade came out of it, but some interesting errors did...

That is really impressive SPP. I have been sitting here just staring at the pic for about 10 minutes.....

...but I was also day dreaming that it was a bag of 48's..

Those 48's "in the day" were also moved around like that....sigh...
