Okay, is there anything to this because I just see a dirty quarter? I have no interest in purchasing, but am now curious. Looks like the wing was hit by a bb gun too.

Looks like just a crusty and damaged quarter. Probably shot with a BB gun just like you suspected.

Certainly not a mint error.

Would like to see the obverse to confirm my guess.I think the coin has been heated and a small pocket of gas expanded causing the bump.

They only want $150K...



They don't have a pic of the obverse, so we can't see the dent on the obverse, but my guess would still be it was victim of a BB gun. Whatever it is, it certainly isn't what the seller claims it is.

It has been in a fire and the high heat caused an internal separation of the cladding, just an ugly damaged coin
