I just bid on this "Mexican 1 Peso" coin and won it. I was wondering what makes the lines and the "wrinkled" look? Also, there are some flat areas on the ends of some of the longest rays? Was the die cracked up,when it was minted? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Frank

Coin looks like it has been very harshly cleaned. Don't know why they did that because the condition to start with was not the best.
