Hi. Can anyone help me?

I found 8 of these Madison dollars - they seem to be error coins. There are several areas around Madison's face that appear to be the blank planchet showing through - although I have no idea if that's what's going on. The areas are very smooth and shiny, and at first glance look like a scrape. Look at the area between Madison's right eye and the bridge of his nose, along the left side of his nose, to the right of his right nostril, between the left side of his face and his hair, and shiny "flares" extending into the background.

Has anyone seem an error like this? Could this be worth anything?

This is the result of overpolishing of the die. Those areas you indicate are the deepest areas of the design and are the HIGHEST point of the design in the die. If the die is overpolished those high areas in the die get ground down creating flat blank areas in the design.
