Please note: I am new to collecting coins.

I was looking through some bank rolls of pennies..

I found a 2002-D penny The AM are "to me touching together" if not almost.
also the FG is spaces more then other cents.

Below the shoulder at about 7 o'clock has the initials VDB.

so I have a 2002 penny with a D under the 2002, and on the shoulder marks VDB not visible without my magnifying glass. on the otherside the am are or almost touching. and the FG is seperated from the monument.

I just found it, 1 hour before post, I could not find ANY info online.

the penny is in great shape I dont know much about grading coins but id say proof like.

My camera is not good enough to view details. I am currently trying to find a camera made to capture small details.

Is this cent valuable?.. if so how much would it be worth?

Also any help on a good camera for capturing details would be nice!

Thanks for reading! please leave a comment! :)

Mynana01, nope. All 2002 D Close AM's are normal. You must mean the 1998, 1999, and 2000 Wide AM's.

Or he is thinking of the 1992 cents which are all supposed to be WAM.

Pige - that coin look like a CAM to me. the distance between the A and M is closer than the M is to the E, also the A looks like it took a small hit at the base on the right side - thus making it appear further away than it really was at the time the coin was struck.
