Picked up this fairly scary fake at Long Beach last week. 26.8 grams. Good devices and the edge is ok. Sorry about the edge picures but the laural leaves do diverge at 180 degrees. There is a slight wave in the pillar side fields. The "ring" is slightly tinny.
I have seen that fake a few times. It is probably one of the early plastic transfer images based on your wavy field comment. Like most of the early cast transfers - wavy fields were a serious problem. It was not remedied until a new releasing system was developed in the 1970's that allowed compressed air to be used to pop off the cast instead of peeling it off and a rigid backing layer could be applied.
