The colored crystals are a unique touch, as I like the red ruby dragon coin shall I call it....

I imagine those gems push up the premium a bit on high end pieces like those two examples eh?

Hawk,

Take a guess, Hawk. You're right, though. They're a "bit" above spot. ;)

traevin,
Can you link a little info in here?
How long has canada been doing the snowflakes, where's a good place to look for a purchase of one and...
Do these coins tend to get milk spots like other silver coins?

I saw a snowflake coin on APMEX for about $83. Thinking I'd lke to have one since they're so darn good looking...

The series has been rolling since 2007. The first two are untouchable for under $300-350. I feel fortunate to have one of the two but I got mine in 2009 when the prices were much lower. But the ones from 2008-present typically sell for around $90-125 at auction. The 2010 was $81. I'd say buy the one for the quoted price, with the caveat being the unknown year you're interested in. Find out the mintage, first, since the RCM has been really dumping this design on the marketplace recently.

No worries about milk spots. That mainly happens to SMLs.
