I know this is my third post but I feel my first two posts did not accurately give my details to you, pls feel free to delete my first two topics (mods) as I have not figured out how to do this...well this coin is supposedly a r-8 from an online source but I do not trust some single paragraph description completely, i'd appreciate any help as this is not a 1863 token, this token does not have the year 1863 like every other picture I have found.

You'd think a r-8 would be worth more money...

It is a function of the size of the market. Most collectors think storecards are "neat" but very few people will pay much money for them. Yours is in the $100 - $125 range. Not bad for a token!

Considering I found it on the ground, I almost think someone threw it away thinking it was a fake penny, its not a bad price.
