i have the 1937 mirror set but was told that the 5 cents wasnt right or the 1 cent as you say very pricey I'm wondering if it is worth it or split the set up as there is a dollar on here I've seen and they are asking about$1000 dollars for it its mirrored DEREK

I would not buy ANY nickels "mirror finish", SP or Proof unless from ICCS or other reputable grading agency. But that's just me.

to add to that,

der123, id say send in what you hav to ICCS or another grading agency in order to make sure you have a true "mirror finish" Then you will be able to sell knowing for sure what to expect and what to ask for.

Looks like the British Coronation proof coins of the same date.
I have the Five Pounds, Two Pounds, Half crown Florin and brass Threepence.
Looking for the rest, the One Pound is the hardest to get.

i sent them to BALDWINS auctioneers and they didnt say they were not mirrored just that the 5 cent and 1 cent were not the proper ones for the set they are in the red box from the OTTAWA mint DEREK
