Hi(: here's another one of the half dollars we've got. this one is a 1925 stone mountain. the coin seems to be in decent condition, not the best but certainly not the worst. I'm curious of the history on this coin, and possible value of it. I know the booker t. washington was a more common half dollar, but I'm hoping this one is a little more less-common then that one. let me know what your opinion is on this coin, as far as grading and what could be better and what is good about my coin. also if your familiar with the value's, what would this coin sell for say on ebay or any other place online/or to a coin shop. thank you!! if needed, I've got other photos of this coin, these few I'm putting up seem to be the better ones.

thanks in advance coin community!! (:

BTW(we're going to auction these coins one way or another, weather its through this site or another, I will keep everyone posted on when and where this takes palce incase any one is interested. me and my fiance are trying to save up for our wedding which is due to take place aug 29th. keep an eye out for other posts by me and you might just see a coin you like!! if you do, ofc let me know if your interested in buying, thanks!!(: - sincerely Brian&Heidi (:

I'd say the approx. retail value would be $40 at most for one in this condition. Most collectors of commeratives go for the higher grade coins since there is not really that much price differential. A Stone Mountain Comemm. in uncirculated condition is only $60 so that makes it harder to sell circulated commeratives.

Yes. You might also want to post the commeratives in the US Commemoratives section of the forum. I'm sure the specialists can give you a better opinion than I can.
