Hello all. I've lurked for a while on this forum as coin hunting has always interested me but I'm ashamed to say that I've never really dropped the $$ on a metal detector. It is mainly because the ones I've used in the past work the best via acoustic where you can hear the beeps. I'm profoundly deaf so purchasing a detector that detects via sound isn't going to work for me so I thought I'd ask and see if you guys knew of a few metal detectors that have detailed screens that SHOWS you when it detects something under the ground?

Most of the mid-priced detectors have displays that provide the features you are looking for. Even though I hunt by sound first, display second, I could disable the audio and still dig good stuff by visual display alone. Just search the web for manufacturers and detector features. They are all competitive and you get what you pay for.
