I have a specialist book on Chinese gold and silver coins for this period.
Tael denominated coins for Yunnan Province are not mentioned.

This coin may be a fantasy in poor silver, perhaps pressure cast.
If you already own this piece, it is still a keeper, even for the start of a 'black' collection, for your own education.

Take the time to examine it VERY closely, to educate yourself.

I would call it a fake- look at the difference in the denticles between the dragon side- all comparatively long and more or less even, and the denticles on the script side- some long, some short, the weakness and filling in the central Manchu characters, while much higher relief sections are clear, and the spacing of the bottom characters- it should have several more characters there, and some of the background looks like they were not removed too cleanly. On the dragon side- the spacing and height of the lettering, and the poor quality roundels. Check the metal- is it silver? The colour suggests maybe not.

Thankyou to both of you for the replies..as I suspected ,not genuine ,or at least not numismaticaly kosher.
Anyway ,I like the design of this one and ,as sel_691 says these might be worth collecting in their own right.
