OK...I know it is late and maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. I'm processing a box of Canadian cents and I came across this 1972 LMC. It appears to me to have some notching of the "B" in LIBERTY as well as possibly a few other letters.

I tried to take a few pics with my camera just to realize the battery is dead. I pulled out my POS USB Microscope to get a few images. I will work on them a bit more tomorrow after some rest.

I looked on CC"s site and did not recognize a match. I also see what may be doubling on the OBV Motto. Again...sorry for the lack of quality pics. I will see what I can muster tomorrow but these might get a start.

I tried to tweak the sharpness a bit just to bring out some more detail.

Looking forward to seeing your replies.

I see what you are talking about but I don't think it is doubling. I have had a couple that look like that and after looking at them at every angle possible they turned out to be either damage or die wear. Lets see what the pros can tell you. Good luck !!

I see a normal 1972 cent. Par for the course
on both coin and die wear.

1972 had master die doubling (I think this is the correct term). So every normal 1972 has a small amount. The DDOs are more pronounced
