HI everyone, I got this one in an uncleaned lot a while back. It is not the best of examples, but the curious mint mark makes me want to figure it out. In addition to being very light (and nearly invisible in my mediocre pics), I am unfamiliar with the mint mark. It seems to be "NSC" (with an "N" that is shaped like the lower portion of an "H") or possibly "NST" (obviously, with the same ambiguity about the first letter applying). Any thoughts?

The photo is not sharp enough to be sure but the first thought is R*T (RIC 23 Rome?).

dougsmit- Thanks for the input. hmmm, maybe the first letter is an "R" but with the legs cut off. But I am pretty sure that the second letter is an "S".

Yes, sorry about the semi-blurry reverse pic. But in hand the mm is not much clearer than in the photo.

I see AQP. Although I am not sure if this mint mark applies to this type of coin from Licinius.

Thanks for the input, ancientcoinguy!

I have not been scrubbing it is a bit with a Q-tip. And I now think that the first letter could be an "A." At present It is now looking like "A8S." Maybe that 8 is actually an odd-looking "Q." Any thoughts or guesses?

I think it is RQT but like Doug said, the image is fairly poor and I can't be certain.
