Maineman750....I diden't know there are valuable toned coins.Like I said before I'm still new at all this.I better go through my "get rid off pile" and dig them out.I have found several with nice toning.Is there something special to look for on those coins?Like type of coin,certain colors,pattern of coloring.

Monika...take a look on ebay at completed listings...search for "toned cent" or "toned silver dollar",etc. It is part of the hobby I'm not especially interested in, but there are definitely people interested in natural toners and will pay good for the right ones.
