Seems to be right where I am on them.

Posted them over at the variety forum for
maybe an overton # Just curious.
Any raw coin out there today over 150 yrs. old
is always looked at as having been cleaned anyway.
I'm sure in the past 180 plus years these may have
been in contact with some soap or water etc. :)
I had an 1864
Seated Liberty dollar. Got it from my step dad years ago. Every dealer/person/pro who looked at it stated that it had been cleaned. I sent it in to Anacs.
Came back O.K. mid AU. Anacs is pretty tough on these things
also. Made my day. And some bragging rights for a while :)
Not comparing that to either of these two coins but too many assumptions about cleaning out there. That dollars leftover mint luster or should I say the areas without it
were triggering (coin cleaned)These people never saw a raw coin that actually had some mint luster left on it.
Chemical cleaning can be detected and I accept that naturally but other types ? Harsh rubbing, dipping etc. is pretty easy to detect after some experience.
I guess to each their own. These are not worth a slab to begin with anyway but will be sold as is in the near future.
Thank's all again.
