I noticed this post http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...TOPIC_ID=816 and had two questions.
Is this coin circulated?
Apparently there are two maybe three versions of it: regular, without grass, and without grass without trees. Anyone have a pics of these is the differnces obvious?

I have one of these excellent coins. There are a few varieties as you mentioned. Here is the one I have.

Thanks!
I found somewhere a picture of the differences but there was no description, and I can't tell from these but maybe someone else can?

I think that the picture is just too small to tell the difference.Maybe Bromac might help you on this one.

I remember seeing something about varieties but none of my references show anything and I really can't remember what they were.

I found the answer on another message board:

"The error (so called error) can be located at the grass line in front of terry's front foot at the sock line.
On the no grass variety there is a bit of grass in front of Terry, it doesn't continue until his sock. "

Now that I look at my previously attached image and at the error coin I have, I can confirm it.

The standard $1 coin has a loon on it.
