In my opinion, filling the holes is as rewarding as finding something special or interesting.

hi all .. shield I have wanted to bid on have been thin on the ground lately so with nothing better to do I had a go at a whack of "holiday" money, I also had a few modern gaps in my danscos I was hoping to fill

Searching-Holiday-Change-In-The-UK

well gone through half of them and filled a few hole and so far the earliest has been a 1952 d dime

then going through the 1970's dimes I found this
Searching-Holiday-Change-In-The-UK
from the pictures in "cherrypickers" it seems to be 1970 DDR FS-10-1970-801

typically it had to be one of the worst condition coins in the lot ..

Congrats on finding the 1952D silver dime! And if that 1970D is the DDR, that is an awesome find too. Just too bad it is in that bad of a condition. I'm looking at it in my book and it looks like a match. I can't see it on the D in UNITED though. Might just be the angle of the picture though.
