The Raleigh (NC) Coin Club is putting the finishing touches on its annual Coin, Currency and Stamp Show! We expect this year's show to be the best ever!

North Carolina's premier coin show runs from Friday, July 13th through Sunday, July 15th. Doors open each day at 10:00am. The bourse is open until 5:30pm on Friday and Saturday, and until 3:00pm on Sunday.

Visitors will be treated to 120 tables filled with numismatic and philatelic treasures of all kinds!

Whether you're a collector of classic or modern US coinage, World coinage, US or World paper money, tokens and medals, or stamps from around the world, you will find something to add to your collection at the show!

Young collectors will be treated to coin and stamp giveaways just for attending!

The show will feature a variety of educational exhibits prepared by club members, and will also include a series of educational talks/programs on Friday and Saturday. (I'll post more details on the talks as soon as the Schedule of Events is confirmed!)

The show is free to attend (registration requested). And parking at the Fairgrounds is free as well!

Here are the details:

Dates: Friday, July 13th through Sunday, July 15th 2012

Hours: Friday and Saturday: 10:00am to 5:00pm // Sunday: 10:00am to 3:00pm

Location: Kerr Scott Building, NC State Fairgrounds

Tables: 120 (The show is completely SOLD OUT!)

See you there!

Is this one hosted by Doc and the gang from RCoR? If so I'll be there. It will give me an excuse to go to the Grand Asian Market for some roasted duck.

No, this show is hosted by the Raleigh Coin Club -- it's our annual show. It is noticeably larger than the RCoR shows, so I believe it will be worth your while to come on down to the Fairgrounds and enjoy the bourse!

Well, the 2012 RCC Show is now over -- let the planning for the 2013 show begin!

The show was very successful, and was attended by over 1,200 collectors this past weekend. There was a good "buzz" on the bourse floor each day, with Saturday being the day of heaviest attendance.

Thanks to any CCF'ers who made it to the show!
