but I feel royally jipped if I get a Philippine peso instead of a quarter.

Found these today.First the 2001 Nickel "wart nose" CoinsandCanada #324 . Pretty cool  and...    Another(now 2)2016Loon Loonie. Although this one has been out there awhile. Hope pic's show it.   Kinda like having this one.I like new well circ'ed coins Edited by Canacoins

I found about half a roll of the old Canadian 12-sided nickels, with two of them being 1953 chrome-plated steel nickels. Someone must have accidentally returned their old nickel collection to the bank.

I really like some of the Canadian coins. Got some great examples here on this thread.
Living in NW Montana I often get Canadian change from stores. Just added another Canadian Penny to the pile today. Someday I will break down and look for errors.
Funny how most stores won't accept Canadian money here in the States, but they have no problem giving it out as change.
