I got a Vimy twoonie in change from the beer store. The clerk was nice enough to open the safe and switched some bills for a RCM roll of them to top it off. Vimy design is on both ends of the roll.

First sighting in the wilds, from Sobeys in Stellarton, NS,
100th Anniversary of the Toronto Maple Leafs, thought I
would compare it to the Montreal Canadiens Loonie from
2009. Nice pairing. Habs have more cups. 24 - 13.
Interesting to note the Registered Trade Mark for Toronto
Maple LeafsŪ on the 2017 coin, whereas the CH in 2009 was
not.

Glad to see them out there. I got my 5 pack in the mail the other day, and was taken more than I thought I would be with how nice they are. I like the Montreal loon so much. Pre 2012 loons are so much "richer". Is that the right word?

Tim Horton's drive through or Mac's. Hey Loonielewy, I'll go with "richer". Better than "more complete". PS: The donut's worked great at bank. Met the silver coin teller. She added my name and # to her list of 4. I asked how to get on top of list. She said "your now on top". Thanks!

Living in southeast Michigan, I get a lot of Canadian change. Many commemorative quarters along with "normal" cents through twonies coins. None of this is spendable in the states so I continue to accumulate for my next trip south to Ontario.

RichVG- of course you like "richer"....Rich. Maybe it should be "Rich-er". Now you are on top, everyone is gunning for you. Good luck with what comes your way. You probably won't regret the effort.

Did you get the Bahama's change as a dime or a quarter?

Grocery store change gave me a 2000 ten pence instead of a quarter. No complaints here.

I found a 1953 SF cent in my cash drawer at work when opening a roll of US cents.

Nice finds to all above. I went to bank yesterday and asked for any old coins. Got 20 x $1 and 42 x 50 cents, already in 2 x 2's Post-Your-Canadian-Circulation-Finds!
