timnic44 and Tee, those are something special. 2 in a row. In the wild! The odds are staggering. Great finds, how about a pic or 2?

Found a 1996 attached 6 yesterday also.

Something also going above the beaver, maybe Cuds?

Looks like you have a die clash on both the obv. & the rev. I'd keep that with the joined 6 as a bonus.

Tee, I agree with Dennman, that is a great die clash.

The obverse and reverse dies clashed with no planchet to press
between them and left the imprint of the obverse die on the
reverse die and vice versa and all coins pressed with those dies
thereafter. It is a really clear one with the Queens forehead and
hair /crown visible above the beaver. Awesome error coin that you
should post in the error/variety section, with large clear pics of
both obverse and reverse sides. I have annotated the reverse pic
to show you the clash of her hair, forehead and crown on the
reverse.

I just checked on the Coins and Canada site to see if your '96 is the near or far variety and found an "attached 6" variety listed with quite a premium value.Your coin with the clash could possibly be even higher.

Info from that site.

Depending on its condition, its scarcity, supply and demand and errors and varieties, the value of a 5 cents 1996 varies. Below, the details of the value of the coin according to its grade.

5 cents 1996 values of circulating coins

AU-50
1996 - Far 6 - - - - - $1.75
1996 - Near 6 - - - - - $0.10
1996 - Attached 6 - - - - $47.30

5 cents 1996 values of uncirculated coins

Year------------------MS-60-----MS-62-----MS-63-----MS-64-----MS-65----MS-66
1996 - Far 6---------- $5.30------$5.50------$9.30------$24.10-----$180------$300
1996 - Near 6-------- $0.60------$1.45------$2.90------$10.10-----$34.90----$130
1996 -Attached 6---$57.60----$77.60----$120--------$170-------$350 - -

edit , just noticed that I took a pic of the wrong one,
the best one is a grade higher than the one photo'd.

My friend has a store and he puts aside colour, new and shinny coins for me, how's this for 23 1/2 years old. Luster is better in hand.

Post-Your-Canadian-Circulation-Finds!

But that's not all he had 2 more the same maybe a grade lower.

I got a 2012 old style, a 2017 vimy toonie, and the 2017 100th anniversary of the Leafs loonie yesterday, all in change.
