monika Pillar of the Community United States 746 Posts	Posted 06/26/2012 01:17 am Well daniels,it looks like a split rather.The crack is not filled in like most diecracks I have on other coins.Im at work right now,but when I get home in the morning,I will try to get better close up pics of it. pyrbob Rest in Peace United States 1943 Posts	Posted 06/26/2012 12:59 pm I don't think it is a striking issue such as a strike through and I don't think it is a die issue. I think this is a planchet issue. I think it was struck on a defective planchet. Report this Post to the Staff
