hey guys, out of 30 ancient coins that I've attempted cleaning, this is the only one that shows great detail with no scratches. I noticed that it has the word Constans which would probably be in the later periods, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you very much family in advance, I really highly appreciate all of yalls help so far.

Looks like a coin of Constantine I.

Obv: CONSTANTINVS AVG
Rev: GLORIA EXERCITVS, Two soldiers standing, with one standard between them
Mint looks to be either Antioch or Alexandria

The mintmark is SM for Sacra Moneta/Sacred Money AN for Antioch followed by a workshop letter which is less than clear here. I'll guess B which means workshop #2 but it could be another of the 10 choices made unclear by the corrosion of time. The Obverse reads Constantine for sure but I see it as Constantine II issued just after his father's death when he was first made Augustus. This is a question others here may choose to dispute.

Since you have the coin in hand, can you make out the last letter/symbol in the mintmark? It's not clear on your image.

the last letter of the word under the two soldiers and standard is a P.

I'm fairly sure that "P" is not a choice. According to my resources, there are many choices, but "P" is not one of them. Could it be a "B" where the bottom is either worn or was a weak strike to begin with? This only makes a difference if you want an exact attribution. Otherwise, I think it is probably RIC VII 40 which is listed by RIC as scarce (doesn't mean much per other discussions on this forum)

yea, I'm pretty sure that it's a B, the lower half probably got worn out at some point.

Constantine II for sure.

A quick search on Dane's pages for one standard Antioch mint eliminates this obverse legend from being Constantine I.
