Poll Question
I got a strap of 2's from the bank the other day and came across these bills. It looks like someone's collection has been spent. Each one of these is very crisp with sharp corners and no creases save for a very slight bend in the center that might be able to be flattened out with a little pressure. The colors on the bills are fine I'm just not sure what the rules are concerning scanning money online, so I didn't want to put up a perfect copy of them. Any thoughts on how desirable these are? I know the one is a star note, but how desirable are serials 197000790 and 197000791? I'm new at this paper money collecting thing so any input is appreciated... Thanks!

to CCF. I would only keep the star note and spend the others. Crisp $2 from 1976 are somewhat common and not that hard to get from banks. IMHO,

I'd also just keep the stars.

Keep the star and sell the rest as a partial pack, especially if they are consecutive serial #s. You should be able to make a small profit on them.

Or if you really like them, keep them all, since you can't lose any money on them, if you want to sell them later on.

I'd keep only the star as well. If you had 197000791 as you mention in the description, a 9 digit radar serial would definitely fetch some cash if authentic!

Getting consecutive notes and star notes is very common when getting twos from the bank. I have received 2 brand new bricks in the past each with 1000 notes in consecutive order still in the orginal plastic wrap. and when I get bricks of circulated notes I usually find 5-15 star notes.
