Another minor 2006 DDO. This is a tough one to see, but I am pretty sure I nailed it down to die #22. I am seeing elongation in the date.

Yeah these are tough to notice and I always question myself when I first find them.

I am not to sure why the markers are not always there, you are probably correct about being an earlier die state.
