I first thought it was a Dryer Coin but the saw the other side was perfectly fine. The rims are raised and the width of the coin is way larger than a regular penny from the 1970. Thoughts?
Nice error and I love the date(my birthyear) You have a cent that was struck through a capped die. For US cents at least, examples with a legible date are worth a little bit more than an illegible date
Typically, dealers sell these coins, circulated from $2 to $5 - priced only slightly more than a circulated clip.
