Apmex Order Status Question

Ed, thanks for the response. Not worried too much about waiting, just was wondering if shipping was imminent or if that meant still waiting for payment to clear. I havent checked since I saw that they received it, the whole watched pot never boils thing. They only received the check last Friday so with the holiday in this week I really was not expecting it to ship before mid next week. Do you know will they ship on Thursdays and Fridays or do they wait to ship early in the week so that the package is not sitting over the weekend in the middle of nowhere?

The timelines are about right, 3 days or less to get your check, plus about 5-7 days for clearance and 10 days before shipment. Usually expect about 3 weeks from the time you initiate the order till you receive the merchandise if you pay by check. Longer than that, you should call or email to inquire about status.

No problem, Steele. Actually, it could mean either one. I have had APMEX orders that I received in 7 days and other APMEX orders that took 14 days. Not sure of the reasons for the difference, though. Both were paid by checks and no holidays were involved. Supposedly, both orders were for things that were in stock but who knows for sure?



That was my point. They can and should be doing this but are not. I worked in a business where vetting the customers was commonplace and the orders were substantial. We used our 800 lines, took about 10 minutes to complete.
